Week 2 Week beginning ^27th April

 

Maths: Complete the tasks that have been set for you. If you have highlighted times table that need to be learnt please look at practising those too. Please also think about what you have been learning about sugar this week. See what other foods you can find and calculate the amounts of sugar by teaspoons. Remember that 5g is roughly 1 teaspoon.

Reading:  What can you find out about your topic area ( one from below)

-          Genetically modified

-          Free range

-          Organic

-          Barn raised

-          Diet ( light, zero, sugar free)

Use a range of sources to find information including, books, articles, internet pages and information from adults.

Extra: Please use your knowledge of the long e to identify words whilst reading that are spelt with the long e.

Word	Long e sounds identified.	Where is it in the word?

 

Writing: Use the knowledge of what you have read about your topic area. Create an information sheet that tells me about the key features of that topic ( use the spare sheet). Remember to keep it interesting and informative. Very importantly ensure that you can any of your facts into your own words.
