Week 2 Week beginning 9th
February
Maths : Check to see if
you can log onto Mathletics. If you cannot access your account, please let me
know. Complete the tasks that have been set for you.
Reading: Using one of the
texts you have taken from the library please spend at least 15 minutes each day
reading. Use the strategies of predicting and using prior knowledge as you
start to read.
Writing: See if you can
find some of your own connections. If you have access to a camera/ipod/ipad
take some photos of things you are connected to and display them using a word
document/popplet etc. These can be emailed to me at mvondetten@meadowbank.school.nz.
If you do not have access to a camera then you can note down
some of the connections that you can see in your homework book, you could do it
using pictures too.
Extra: Please explore the
blog this week using the address below.
Also think about the sorts of information that you think we
could add to the blog to make it useful and relevant to all that will see it.
